Texas Hill Country Wedding

I met Brilee and Grace at another wedding I filmed for their friends Austin and Valouree. Truly some of the most incredible women you’ll ever meet. Having met them previously, it was a lovely reunion of sorts to be able to go and capture their love story in the Texas Hill Country. It should go without saying, but I proudly support love in ALL it’s forms.

Their celebration started at a local winery in Fredericksburg, TX for their rehearsal dinner. The wedding itself was at an incredibly cute and cootage-in-the-woods kind of Airbnb in downtown Fredericksburg, before moving the celebration to Grace’s family property that had been developed, curated and landscaped for a year in anticipation for their big day.

I haven’t shot many LGTBQ+ weddings - but I can say that there’s something a little extra special about these. I think because for so many years this kind of union wasn’t considered “legal,” there is a je ne sais quois about this wedding that you can feel in the way these two women expressed their love for each other, as well as the way their families and friends showed up in real support.
